Cost of length of stay passes for DLP when using points

If anyone has used points to book at DLP recently can you tell me how much the length of stay passes are? Obviously this will depend on the number of nights you stay but I would just like some idea of the cost. I am thinking of letting my son and some of his friends have a couple of nights there for his 18th birthday next year.:)

I may be really out of date here, but as nobody else has answered I'll give your question a whirl :)

When staying at DLP on points it was always the case that it included length of stay park passes for up to four people (assuming there were four staying in the room). Hopefully someone else can confirm?

loretta

When we went in July it was $179 a person (I think a bit less for kids) you also have to pay a $90 booking fee.

We had a great time

Thanks Susan, was that for a two night stay? Last time we stayed park passes were included but I knew that had changed. I know I should just email member services and ask, but I was waiting for the 2009 Members Guide to see how many points I would need.

We stayed three nights, but had to pay for four days. I was annoyed initially when we had to pay for the four days as we don't usually go to the park on the last day as we just go straight home. However we decided to make the most of it and stay the night before in Dover and the night after in Calais so as not to waste any time in the parks. The points also include breakfast which you can have early in the parks so to make the most of the time. It was soooo good.

Unfortunately for DVC owners now DLP charges for length of stay passports. These are compulsory so you can't benefit from buying annual passports instead :confused3

Thanks for your replies. We mostly use our points at WDW but have been to DLP a few times and stayed for almost a week the first year we bought DVC as we couldn't afford the flights.

Paying for the extra day would be fine for us as we live very close to Ebbsfleet the new Eurostar station and would get the train which doesn't leave until late afternoon for the return journey.

Just need to see how many points I need and then my son can decide which friends to invite. :yay:
