If we want to refill our mugs how does this work....I read something about a ticket!!

thanks for your help!!

I've never heard of the ticket but this could be something new.
In my past stays I would just walk in and fill up the mug and go.

I know you can book fishing trips with any resort but I don't think you can fish right off their property, at least I've never seen anyone from the docks or shores doing that.

Port Orleans Riverside has Cane Pole Fishing...but I thought that I read that Coronodo does also

thanks

we have done fishing excursions from Wildnerness Lodge and Beach Club!!

We only stayed at CS for a couple of nights, and didn't get the refillable mugs, but we did eat at the Pepper Market a few times. The Pepper Market is unlike other food courts, in that you go in and get a ticket. You go to the different food stations and get your ticket stamped with what you've eaten. Then, when all is said and done, you pay when you leave.

The mugs were getting filled inside the Pepper Market. Unlike other food courts, you actually had to hand your mug to someone behind the counter to get it filled. Thus, to ensure that you weren't eating a meal while you were there, I would assume that they would stamp your ticket as a mug refill only, which you would still then have to present to the cashier on your way out.

We felt it would be too much of a hassle for the couple of nights that we were there. I do think you can refill you mug by the pool bar also, but I'm not positive.

Yes, that is exactly how I remember it and yes, you can refill your mug poolside. You have to hand the person behind the counter your mug and just tell them what you want and they refill it.

You can fill your mugs at the bar and/or the snack bar by the pool. You can fill your mugs at the little store outside the Pepper Market, at the Pepper Market or the side window neat the entrance to the Pepper Market. The food tickets you receive have nothing to do with just refilling your mugs. The tickets are used for dining, in or out.

Yes, you can rent fishing equipment at the marina and fish in Lago Dorado.

Where can I find more info on the fishing...

Buzz looking for your opinion....Staying 4 nights in October we want a different resort and Coronodo looks great with the fishing and pool...but we are only going to water parks and Sea World...

thinking of doing 2 nights Contemporary....we are eating at Chef Mickey's and Ohana's....Do you think that it would be worth the extra $220.00 for the 2 nights at Contemporary or just drive our car to resorts for dinner....

thanks so much

Not worth it to me but that's just my opinion. We stayed at the Contemporary in 11/2002 and I was not impressed. We stayed in the north wing, very close to the food court. It was a great spot and a nice resort but to me, just not worth the extra money. I could walk to MK quicker than the monorail with all the stops. CSR has a better pool. If it was me, I would just drive to the cont and save the money. For only 4 days, not worth switching resorts.

As you can see on the sign fishing is $3.75 per 30 mins.

Thanks so much!! We felt that way after Beach Club with not having a food court but Beaches & Cream it wasn't worth the extra$...and we felt the same about Wilderness Lodge...

We would rather be at POR or POFQ...thats why we want to try Coronodo....thought of Carribbean Beach but your website and all of its plusses are for Coronodo...

thanks again...
do you have epcotfan's website!:sunny:

Don't know much about fishing at CSR but when we were there two years ago there was a gator that came right up to the pier outside the pepper market. DH and the kids and I were coming back from the pool when we saw him swimming up to some people at the railing. Some property guys came pretty quickly and fished him out and took him somewhere else.

Close encounter that we'll never forget. It was about 3-4 ft long and we got pretty close after they pulled him out. They say it's pretty common on the grounds.

Have a great time!
