I can't believe all these people checking in within the next 20-28 days. Lucky you all are.

Not sure about the others, but we're checking in during the first part of the free dining promo. CSR didn't have the total number of nights we needed and I had to keep checking almost daily until we finally got them. :thumbsup2

Awesome. We still have 52 days to go, but at least that final payment is in and I have that off my mind. Hope you'll give us a report when you get back. :)

Ok, we have a few more weeks before our vacation starts. We were planning on ordering 3 cases of water from costco. I am confused with the fee of $10 from the csr. Is it $10 per case or $10 per order? Should I just order it with garden grocer?
Has anyone order from either of these places? I am worried that I will not receive it.
Thanks

We used the Garden Grocer. They were great. I had ordered Diet Coke, Coke Zero and Water--along with some other cold items. They delivered it to the bell hop area---who later delivered it to our room.
I even rec'd a call from the Garden Grocer the next day asking if everything was ok with my order. :)

23 days and counting....This will be our family's first time we will be anywhere other than the Poly. Fingers crossed!

Hmm we are going for 11/21 for 3 nights but I have just realized that it might be nicer to get there on Saturday the 20th, but there are no more standard rooms, only suites on that day. (This is so we can spend an extra day with my folks over on the Gulf coast during Thanksgiving.)

Think I should keep on checking with them to shift it by one day? Call or on-line which do you think is best?

OH BTW this is our first stay at CSR. We've stayed at BC and AKL before, but we are really looking forward to this trip, scored a blackout date FD PIN for our arrival too.

Keep trying... there will likely be some cancelations 45 days out. I'd just keep checking online, and as soon as you see an opening for that day, call to book it.

We just got back from CSR. The rooms and the resort is beautiful. Gotta love those queen sized beds. We had requested a room in Casitas, but got Ranchos 6B. The CM at check-in did notice our request and was willing to check to see if we could change. I declined only because our room was ready and didn't want to chance moving and getting a room that wasn't ready. We ended being close to both a quiet pool and the Dig Site.

We had an issue with Mousekeeping, they only left us 2 washclothes every day. I even left a note on the 2nd morning and still was only left 2. I called and they sent up plenty to last us the trip.

DH was not too keen on the food choices (liked CBR better). I wish the snack bar at the Dig Site was opened earlier and stayed open later. It was quite a trek to refill our mugs.

Thank you KatMark & fairyfan! We're 34 days and I can't wait, I keep on looking at the photos :cool1: Hopefully I can still upgrade

Anyone else have any expirence with ordering??

Well we have just returned from 2 lovely weeks at Coronado Springs!!

FAB, FAB, FAB!!

Only one thing I would complain about was that it was full of tourgroups/soccer school kids and they caused the odd nightmare bus journey or noisey night running about from hotel room to hotel room!

We were in Cabanas 8B - hadn't requested anything. Room was nice and clean and MaryAnn the Mousekeeper was fabulous - did crazy things with my son's toys every day and was just so friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

We found the location fine, 2 mins walk from bus stop 4 and 5 mins (at a 2 year old pace) from the centre so all good. DS loved watching the Alligator in the water whilst Mum and Dad had a Margarita of an evening so all good!!

We found the food good - didn't go to Maya Grill - DS is better at eating somewhere noisier and less formal lol but despite my reservations about Pepper Market we loved it. There were a couple of times that we mis-timed it and the lines were a bit frustrating but only a couple.

In a lot of ways CS reminded my of POR which is a bit weird since they are very differently themed - maybe just the Disneyness of it - lol!

We didn't spend much time at the pools - on morning at the Dig Site and one morning at one of the quiet pools but both lovely.

Would recommend it though - lovely break though it went far too quickly!!

Actually, I would call because you're going during a busy time over the holiday and there may now be other nights that are unavailable that would cause the entire length of stay to show up on the website as unavailable, when the date you want to add might be open. Just tell the CM assisting you that you are trying to add a night to your package for check-in on 11/20. Good luck!!!

Can you refill the mugs at Cafe Rix? I recall reading somewhere that you could, although on the AllEars website it says you can only get refills at Pepper Market or Siestas.

Also, is it true that the Cafe Rix is the only self-serve refill station, at the others you need the CM's to fill for you?

OK, I'm lost, I've looked at the Map and I don't see Cafe Rix. :confused3 Can you refill your mug someplace near the Dig site???

Thanks!:goodvibes

AllEars is wrong. You can refill yourself at Cafe Rix and at PM and Siestas they do it for you.

Cafe Rix is the relativelyl new grab and go located next to the gift shop in the main building (El Centro). Siestas is the pool bar where you can refill your mugs.

can someone tell me where to get ice on site? is there an ice machine somewhere or do i have to go to the bar to get some? I was planning on bringing a small blender and some margarita mix and rum but am at a loss for the ice? Also, anyone know the rules of alcohol in my checked luggage or carryon? Thanks all. As you can tell, I don't travel NEARLY as much as I'd like to!! :rotfl:

I don't know if they sell bags of ice, but there are ice machines in every building. I don't know about the liquor on the plane as I've not tried that.

you cant take it in your carryon but checked is ok, here from the tsa website:

You can't carry alcoholic beverages more then 140 proof (70%), you may take upto 5 liters per person, in checked luggage if it's packaged in a sealable bottle or flask.

We are heading down to Coronado Springs for a week TOMORROW!!!

Driving down from Toronto, and we are pretty excited about it.

All the dinners are booked, bags are packed (almost) and we can't wait.

I'm bringing the PC, so maybe I'll post an update or two.

Have a SAFE trip and a most magical time. Hope you enjoy CSR.

Okay, guys. I've posted the poll for the CSR Dis Meet. Here is a link to the poll: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2520262

I'm sorry I couldn't spread the options out more, but with Mark and I only being there for four days, trying to find a time was a little difficult. Hopefully we can get a good group.

Also, one other thing. We are on Page 184 of this thread. Once we reach 250 pages, the thread has to be closed and a new one started. I don't think we'll reach 250 pages before I go, but I also don't want to reach 250 pages while I'm gone and not able to make a new one. So, if anyone doing reviews after a trip could do a separate thread, I would be most appreciative. I could do an "updated" thread before I go, but I really want to get some new pictures while I'm there and check into a few things before I do it.

Thanks for all of your support.

Kathy (and Mark)

****Please note that I screwed up my DIS Meet poll. It should be open until September 6 and the date for the Germany option is Monday, September 20. I'm trying to get it fixed; if I can't, I'll have them close it and start fresh.
