We have made our reservations for CSR:banana:

Having never stayed at this resort, we would like to know about your experiences, and which area to stay.

We have a standard room, and would rather be close to bus stops and Pepper Market. We wouldn't mind walking to the pool.

Please tell us your favorite reasons for staying, and anything else about the resort.

Thanks for your help....:thumbsup2

CSR is our favorite resort!!! :worship:

Our favorite section is Casitas 4 or 5 as it is close to the Quiet Pool and the spa/health club. From there it took me an average of four or five minutes to walk to the Pepper Market every morning to get fruit and coffee for breakfast.

We love the theme of the resort; the landscaping, the pools, the spa, the Pepper Market, the gift shop. Mousekeeping has always been terrific when we are there; the CM's very friendly and helpful. My DH and I enjoy taking walks around the lake at night under the moon.

It is simply a lovely resort.

If the pool is not a huge issue to you, I would stay in the Casitas 1, 2,or 3. The cabanas are nice too, but I think the casitas are nicer if you don't mind walking to the main pool. The quiet pool there is really nice too.

We are two time Ranchos fans. Further from the Pepper Market, but oh so close to a bus stop (BS 3 or 4, can't remember which one we had) with our bldg's own Quiet Pool. We loved the walk in the morning to breakfast past the lake and the Dig Site pool--that is with our two small children. And when returning from the parks, we'd just hop off the bus stop closest to our Ranchos bldg.

Worked for us!:thumbsup2 You're going to enjoy it!

Stayed at Cor. Springs once. We stayed in Cabanas 8 which seemed perfect to me. Close to the pool, pepper market, and a bus stop. The resort is HUGE!!! Of course, if you stay on the other side of the resort you are first on the busses and first to be dropped off.

Pepper Market is a great place to eat. I know people hate on Maya Grill, but we had a nice dining experience there.

Just my opinion, but I liked Port Orleans Riverside better, but you can't go wrong at CS.

the Casitas section is more like a city theme.
The Casitas (section D-- Bldgs 1--room #s 1100--1491) was the Prettiest section of CSR (it has courtyards, fountains)
This Section of bldgs are very close to the Pepper Market.

The only thing that I found negative about this section is that
it was like a maze, you really have to have a good sense of
direction because you could get lost real easy.

Casitas--Section D bldgs 4--room # 4100-4467 are
closest to bus stop(this is the middle of the Casitas section).

There is Also the Cabanas Section 9B rooms 9500-9657 are the closest to both PM and Bus. This section is themed like a tropical theme with a beach and hammocks.

You made a great choice! Check out my SR website for pics and info.

Depending on what you want to be close to, here are some good building choices.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. Most convenient location and most preferred.

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool)

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool and is also a smoking optional building.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 1 is attached to the main building and is very close to the restaurants.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building.

Make your room request as soon as you make your reservation. It’s never too early.
