I believe all moderates will allow you to have a cot or spare bed in your room.

Is this correct and if so is it a twin size bed?

Is there a charge for it?

When the Moderates went from Double to Queen sized beds they did away with the roll away cot option. You can still get a pack and play but that's it.

Some moderates do allow 5 in a room because they have a murphy bed, but it's pretty small and meant for a child.

I have to admit... I tried the Murphy bed at the Poly. I'm 5'8"... It was a wee bit too small. Knocked into the wall a few times over night, waking me up. Our daughter is 5'1". She was very comfortable... So much so that she asked to stay at the Alligator Bayou (sleeps 5) over the Royal room at POR when we returned to Disney a few months later. Don't know about the spare bed situation, though.

Looks like your youngest is 10. She would likely fit on a Murphy bed, unlesss she is very tall. Unfortunately CSR doesn't have these- only POR and CBR do.

What some people do is bring an air mattress with them, standing it up against a wall when not in use, to free up floor space.

It seems you are a family of 6. No moderate rooms accommodate 6 except for the Cabins at FW and the suites at CSR.

Good advice, minnie mum... We were able to fit an air mattress at the CBR back in 2011-2012 & just let the air out & rolled it up when not in use. It's an option that will allow you to fit up to 6.

Thank you everyone! I always book two rooms.

My scenerio is one that needs a bed for dh and myself, a bed for 19 yo dd, a bed for 17 yo dd, a bed for 13 yo ds, and a bed for 10 yo dd. It's a sticky situation...

Totally against occupancy limits, though.
True. At the time we used it for a friend's son who couldn't sleep in the bed w/ my daughter... So different situation altogether. I wasn't thinking about the occupancy limits at the time of my post.

Yeah, you're either going to have to book two rooms, or go with a family suite/cabin at Ft. Wilderness/suite @ CSR, or upgrade to a 2br at a Deluxe.

Are the cabins at Fort wilderness considered value or moderate? Asking for the purpose of free dining promotion.

Also, what size are the Murphy bed and other beds?

Murphy is about 66" x 31" per **************.net... Mom's panel has it at 65" x 35". My 11 y/o was comfortable in it & she was 5'1"-5'2" at the time.

The Cabins are considered moderate, for FD purposes.

Aside from the Murphy bed, mod resort rooms have queen size beds, which are normally easily shared by 2 people. The only exceptions are the Pirate rooms at CBR which still only have double beds, and the Cabins, which have a queen bed, a set of bunk beds, and a double sleeper sofa.

CSR suites (non king) have queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa.

Just in case someone else checks this thread I wanted to mention you can certainly get a rollaway at CSR, we have done it. It was $10/night. They only have a set number so it's first come first served

As the Cabins at FW are being refurbished, the bedroom does now have a Queen bed and a bunk set, but the sleep sofa in the living room is a Queen pull out, not a double any longer. So 1 Queen bed, 1 twin bunk set and 1 Queen sleeper sofa

Everyone in my family HATES pull out bed option. I was hoping it was the Murphy bed still.

Hello MomTo3PrincessesInNJ How are you. This is such good news about the rollaway beds. have you stayed there recently and received a roll away bed. I know that they say that do not have them anymore if you call, but I am really hoping to get one so kids can each have their own bed. Thank you in advance for any information you can give me about this.

I stayed in Nov 2014, however there is a CSR fan site (google Coronado Springs Buzz) that still lists the roll away as an option. Good luck!

Just bumping this to see if anyone can confirm if they allow a roll away for a 3rd child? We would have 2 adults, 3 children and would prefer CSR to CBR.

Trying to confirm this as well for friends staying next week who have two teens(opposite sex) who can't sleep together - knew it was 1st come availability, but thought it was still possible according to CSR forum. We have stayed there but never used one, ad one of us just sleeps with each kid. Haven't checked Buzz's site recently, so will look there as well. I mentioned the air mattress to them as PP had said, but it seems bulky to pack in luggage - do people just have them shipped and leave them if flying, or are there some that are lighter/less bulky to pack?
