Hello,
We want to request a specific area for our room at the CSR. Is there an on-line map of the buildings at the Coronado that shows room number? and how they're laid out? I have a overall resort map. What I'm looking for is the Casita 2, 3 & 4 layouts.
Thanks

There is a very up-to-date official thread for CSR; you may want to check that out.

Also, definately request a specific area, not a specific room. The room assigner won't know why you want that specific room and your request will get over looked.

I believe Casitas 1, 2, and 3 are preferred rooms since they are the closest to the main building.

All of the rooms at the resort follow a mirror room layout (ie.bed on the left table on the right in room 1, room 2 will have bed on the right, table on the left). As far as the room numbering goes, Casitas 1,2 and 3 house 98% of the suites and about 8% of the actual rooms. If you want Casitas 2, request a room starting in 2 (Ie. 2341 is Building Casitas 2, 3rd floor, room 41). Follow the same logic for the other buildings. Keep in mind buildings 2 and 3 are preferred. Preferred is preferred to the convention center not the main building. I would suggest Cabanas 9B. It is definitely closest to the main building and not charged as preferred.
