Hi All
Trying to decide between the above 2. We like the theming of POR but also like the closeness of the preferred option at CSR. My question is how big is POR if we get the furthest point. Planning on a resort stay this trip but I feel like if we are stuck in a far enough spot I’m going to hear it from the family even though right now they’re telling me whichever I prefer lol.

I would say it's a 10 minute leisurely walk from farthest room to lobby area. Shorter to main pool and bus stop. Luckily my family has never had an issue of walking at the resort we are staying at, and actually enjoys the walk. We have never payed extra for preferred, never found it necessary. POR also has a preferred room category that you can pay for or put in a request for a room close to food court.

Mom and I ended up making the decision to go with the CSR preferred room for the few dollars' difference in May. We've stayed at both resorts before, and since we're only doing the parks for a few days of the trip... being closer to the lobby and two bus stops made sense for us. Love POR, but also realized that we would likely be in the furthest building... a longer hike than we wanted to the main lobby (or navigating to the front via buses).
