The online check-in request is VERY limited (below). If you have a certain request, it is best to call in and add it to your reservation.

If you really don't have any preferences (building, floor etc), you may want to consider calling to add "refurbished room" as your request. We stayed in one last month and really liked it.

Is there a recommended time to place such a call to have a request noted? Or is faxing preferred? We'd like to request a refurbished room for our June 8 trip, preferably in 8A.

Anytime from the day you book up until 4-5 days out. When within that time frame makes no difference.

Or is faxing preferred?

No.
