Coronado bus stops/getting seats

Our trip is the last two weeks of Aug., with the first week staying at CSR. I (like most parents) prefer that my kids are seated instead of having to stand on the buses to/from the parks. I know that the first stop around the circle at CSR for picking up on the way to the parks is bus stop #2 at Casitas. By the time the bus goes around and gets to the Cabanas or El Centro, is it standing room only (especially in the AM on the way to the parks)?? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks for any advice!!

I travelled there in January so I am not sure how much this will help you. We usually used the bus stop by the lobby, It was the last to be picked up at. Never had a problem, if fact it was generally empty. To walk to bus stop number 2 is not a whole lot further from casitas than #1. If you experience having to stand use stop 2. The only time I got on a full bus was on our way back after Illuminations. It was like that for every bus. Loved the bus system at CSR.

We were at stop #4, the last before El Centro & had no problems ever getting a seat. Even the few times we got on at El Centro were fine. Coming back was only really crowded at park closings, as are pretty much all resort buses at that time. We did wait for the next bus one time when it was standing room only & let the people behind us get onto the standing one. We didn't want our little ones standing either.

in the cabanas, we used the lobby bus stop and never had a problum, once we waited forevvvvvvvver for a bus to M.K. but the when it got there there was so many people trying to get on it was crazy, we let them pile on and tons cut in line in front of us. HHHHHHHHHHHah the next bus to pull up was M.K. again there were hardly anybody on it but us. We only had to stand a few times on the way back becouse we gave up our seats to older people or people holding sleeping kids. It was never a long ride. Have a great time. Relax in the hamacks dig your toes in the sand and have a blast. After the kids would go to sleep I would sit in them for a while and unwind in the quiet cool air. Loved that resort.

Bus Stop #2 is the first stop for all parks, Only DTD starts at Bus Stop #1.

So to be guaranteed a seat in almost every circumstance, you need to board at #2.

When at CSR we plan to stay in Casita's to be near bus stop #2. We do not walking to a main pool. But we like to be near the best bus stop.
