It is a wonderful resort with a fabulous pool area! It has a real deluxe feel even though it is a moderate. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Check out my website in my signature. We love CSR.

We had a great stay at CSR in December and enjoyed everything about this resort. Will definitely stay at CSR again!

Everywhere you look it is beautiful. Everything is lush and green, with many fountains in the courtyards and the Pyramid pool is just fabulous! With the exception of the Yacht/Beach, we think it is the best pool area on property (just our opinion of course). We especially enjoy strolling around the lake each morning on our way to the Pepper Market for breakfast and again each evening for a late night swim and a soak in the oversized hot tub- so peaceful and relaxing. We have tried many of the other resorts but we always return to Coronado. You have nothing to worry about, just relax and enjoy!

Another vote for Coronado Springs! We went for the first time last month and fell in love with it. It is now our favourite resort at Disney (and we have stayed at quite a few, including deluxes) - we will certainly be returning.

Shhh! that's becasue we try to keep it quiet. This is the best kept secret on property!
So far the nicest resort we'e stayed anywhere for the $$ -and we paid $109-due to it being peak season!

thank you for the results. you all have made me feel much better.

My son asked to stay at CSR after seeing a photo of the jaguar waterslide, so I walked through the resort on a solo trip to check it out and found it very serene and beautiful. I brought the family back a few months later, and both children (ages 6 and 10) loved the resort. In fact, they visited only one park that trip and said they'd be happy to trade park time in the future to stay at CSR again!

this is a wonderful resort! I Have been at all moderates except FQ (staying in October) and this is my favorite for sure.

Pool is awesome, food court is great and rooms are nice!! Enjoy your stay

Great to finally hear about Coronado! I have been thinking about it - but did not know too much about it!

Would this resort appeal to a 3 and 5 year old??? I was trying to get an AP rate for February at AsMo, because dd loved it when we stayed there in June, but an AP for CSR was the only thing they had available, so I booked it! :teeth: It looks like a beautiful resort, and considering it had not even crossed my mind to stay there, I am kind of excited about it now. :cool1:

Hello, fellow Badger! We loved both of our stays at CSR. It's a beautiful place. We will be returning in April!

G&J'sMOM, I booked our stay, me, DH DD 5 & DS 2, for 2/5-2/12/05. I have done alot of research & have stayed @ CBR & Dixie Landing (my goal, as many, is to stay @ all resorts  ) I have heard alot of great things about this resort. Yes it is a convention resort but I have hear that they have buses for ONLY this resort, to the parks & there are alot of little things that are enjoyable. I hear the pool is great, someone told me to be there by 10:00 to see all of the fountains turned on. There are telescopes all around the lake to look @ everything. The food court is suppose to be great, alot of different things for everyone. Great paths to walk or jog. Close to DTD. Any other inside secrets would be great to read too!! Hope this will help you. By the way I got $107 pernight with AAA discount. Would love to hear what you choose!

we are contemplating a mod for our next vaca and did not like CBR very much, mainly due to how spread out it is, as well as the layout of the foodcourt at the time... can someone describe the food court at CSR more indepth 'cause that is one aspect that makes me nervous (we loved the food court at pop as a comparison)

tia!

We have stayed the last two WDW trips at CSR. We love it! We have stayed in the Ranchos which we loved the fun theming, close proximity to CSR's awesome pool area and the Ranchos section is a little more secluded and quiet. This past trip we stayed in the Casitas which is closer to El Centro. We had the best view overlooking the lake. Each section has a quiet pool, bus stops and a creative theme! The rooms at CSR are nice and spacious and we have always found them to be clean and fresh. The grounds are beautiful and we always take a few walks around the resort during our visits. The food court at CSR is by far the best. We have always enjoyed our meals here.
We absolutely love CSR and recommend it to everyone!
:)

my total price for the hotel, and tickets for four day hopper was 2406.00
now that does include two rooms as there are six of us so it is spendy. the next time we go it will only be four of us so it will be alot cheaper. I got the dream maker magic moments package. i am so nervous spending this kind of money. we are staying at the comfort the first night with a rate of 62.96 then at the cornado for three nights then we are staying over by univeral studios at a quality inn for 99.00 which is higher than i really want to pay but can't find anything else cheap enough because of being six of us.
this is so much money i hope this trip turns out to be everything it is cracked up to be.
