I have always wanted to eat here since I was a little. The atmosphere is just to cool. So when I want to "test the water" (get it, test the water, ha, sorry) I usually like to try a lunch first. Before spend alot on a meal I don't like.

I was checking out the menu and seen the "famous" lobster bisque, which sounds very good. But, just not sure what else to pick. This is a fish place and I will not be oridering anything but fish. Any suggestions, Thanks

I remember havig the bisque and it being pretty good. I think I might have had scallops also. The food was pretty good- not great, but the portions were tiny for the price, even though it was lunch.

It is truly someplace to eat just for the great atmosphere.

Enjoy!princess:

They had some awesome dessert - called the "chocolate wave" or something like that. It's like a chocolate lava cake with warm brandly cream that oozes out. It was very good, our CM told us that it is always voted Disney's "best dessert".

We eat here every trip, but the menu changes pretty frequently, so I can't make specific suggestion....

The bisque is good. I had scallops that were very good. My mom, I believe, had some sort of beef entree (what was she thinking???) and she enjoyed it. I wish I could remember more specifics...but all I can say is that we've all (8 adults) enjoyed it multiple times. The food is good - but the atmosphere makes it! Try it for lunch...isn't Disney the place to make your childhood dreams come true???:)

the chocolate wave is soooo yummy. we were there in 2002 and my little brother (9) had chicken.

We ate there on our latest trip 2 weeks ago. Definitely a great menu. We shared the scallop appetizer which was described as scallops over a beet flan. It had a paper thin slice of dried apple, 2 large sea scallops over a beet flan/pastry with an apple flavored sauce-different but delicious. I had the mahi mahi na dmy frine dhad the tuna. Both were wonderful. As an avowed chocoholic I am always looking for a great chocolate dessert but we opted instead to share the fruit sorbet. Oh my how smooth and flavorful. Three scoops of feshly made sorbet-pinapple, strawberry and blackberry. I can still taste them. Ummmmm.
And sitting by the tank was everything I had hoped for. :smooth: :wave2:

I didn't find it fishy, but I did think it SUCKED!! Sorry, JMHO, there are much better restaurants at disney.
