Coral Reef!

As the pp suggested I am going to try and get a booth. I guess I am just really upset because everything is geared towards families of 4 only. No value resorts plus so many other things. I have even received some frustrated sighs when I call for dining.

I think the booths are a much better seat than the windows tables. We will be there in August with a group of 11, so I can't even imagine how they will seat us. Mostly likely tier 3, next to the kitchen. We've only had positive visits here and have eaten here 3 times this year already! Hopefully your server will give you the fish spotting guide (ask if they forget). It is fun spotting the fish and knowing the name of it. The turtles are HUGE! I'm taking my son for the first time in August (he's 29) and he will be thrilled...yes he's a big kid.

Thread hijack alert!!!!! Just kidding but I do have a question for those that have been to Coral Reef before. We have a dinner ADR at 4:30, is it possible for a family of 5 to try and wait to get a 'window' seat? I don't know about the rest of you but I am feeling like I am missing out on quite a few things because we are a family of 5.

The tables right in tront of the aquarium seat only 4. The closest you could get would be the first row of booths for five people.

We always eat lunch at coral reef and enjoy their food and service. I feel obligated to order seafood when I'm there but maybe I'll force myself to try the steak on one of these trips!

I second the best steak vote!!!:thumbsup2

We just ate there on 6/9, it was me, DD14, DD14 friend and DD6.

We all ordered the steak except for DD6(not on the kids menu).

There was nothing left on our plates. The potatoes that came with it were delish, too.

DD14 ordered the creme brulee, we did not like it, it was citrus flavored, yuk.:scared:

Also don't mean to hijack this thread-but if we are a party of 7, would it be best to split up to get a good view of the tank, i.e. table of 3 and table of 4? Would they be willing to do this. Should I get an early dinner reservation to make it more likely (we are going in Feb.). Thanks for any and all info!

has the BEST steak I have ever eaten in my life!!!
Just wanted to pass that along.:)
I really loved everything about this restaurant.

Great food.
Great service.
Great atmosphere.

Don't forget about the lobster bisque! (not sure if that's been posted)
