coral reef vs. nine dragons

we'd like to try both for lunch during our trip this may, but we might only have time for one lunch in epcot. i'd like to try nine dragons, my husband wants to try coral reef. which do you recommend out of the two choices? (i know these aren't favorite choices for many of you, and we're doing lunch since we've heard they are expensive for dinner). thank you!!

Coral Reef has better food, IMHO. Both are overpriced, but the Nine Dragons' food is pretty ordinary.....although it is a beautiful restaurant. The Reef does a better job on the surf than the turf, though, so it helps if you're a seafood fan.....

We like both, but it is really hard to compare. DD liked both, as well. Why not try both?

We ate lunch at Coral Reef in December and it was very good. I had the Lobster Bisque, which was excellent, and a pretty good main dish of Mahi Mahi over mashed potatos. DGF had a mixed seafood pasta dish that she loved. Compared to Nine Dragons, which is kind of like the standard Chinese food that you can get anywhere, I would definately recommend Coral Reef.

I would go to Coral Reef just for the ambience. It's not everyday you get to sit next to a 5 million gallon tank, plus the food is good. We've never eaten at Nine Dragons (though I'm sure they're good, too); we can get Chinese food on every block in our neighborhood.

Hi,we find Nine Dragons really overpriced,and the food is really only average.We think that,a tasty option and with very reasonable prices,is the Lotus Blossom Cafe (think that 's the name) ,which is their little restaurant attached to Nine Dragons.We always eat there,and then have our big meal at our fave place,the Norwegian Akershus buffet!

One is nice. The other is better.

Coral Reef will cost more, but the food and atmosphere are better
