Ok, feel free to just move along, I just need to vent a little
Back in March during my very first visit to Disney we just had to go to Coral Reef. Well, we arrived for our ADR 15 minutes early and took a seat. Our reservation times rolls around, nothing. Another couple comes in with the same ADR time as ours (3:00), and takes a seat. we wait. in the mean time, 3 groups of 4+ people stroll in, and we can actually hear them tell the check in they DO NOT have ADR's. Not one of the groups. So we wait, assuming we will be seated right away. By this time it is 30 minutes past our reservation time, and the couple that came in after us goes to the desk, and I assume complained so they got seated. While we were sitting there, looking at the CM's in awe. Then ANOTHER large group comes in, this time with a ADR at 3:30 and are also seated right away. So finally, my fiance goes to the desk, and very nicely asks if we will be seated soon, and she says, "your pager will go off when we have a table" and turns away. So then, he explains that we have been waiting 45 mins, and 30 mins since our ADR time, and that a couple with the same ADR time as us who came in after us has already been seated. She told him it was because they didn't have a 2 person table ready for us and didn't want to give us a 4 person table. I get it. They want to keep those tables for groups of 4, but COME ON. That's excessive. It make me want to cry thinking about it.
Thank you for your time, and good night.
