Coral Reef or R&C?

I was reviewing my ADRs and realize that I have booked two TS meals in one day: a lunch at the Coral Reef and a dinner at the Rose & Crown. We have 4 kids, 2 seniors and 3 adults in the group. We will be on the free DDP, so cost is not really an issue, going in late August.

We will begin our day at the Epcot rope drop. Our plan is to leave Epcot early-ish that day, swim, and get the kids to bed at a reasonable hour. We will see IllumiNations on another night, and we have never been to either restaurant.

Advice? Issues to consider? Thanks for any help!

We have been to both and our kids would choose Coral Reef a million times over. They have loved their meals there as well as the atmosphere. DH and I have also really enjoyed everything there as well.
The kids meals at Rose N Crown hold no appeal to our peeps and our meals were not fantastic so we won't be hurrying back.
