Coral Reef lunch or Biergarten dinner? 2 kids with us

Finally got the Coral Reef ADR I've been after for weeks. Now I have to be certain I want to cancel Biergarten. The Coral Reef one is for a very late lunch (3pm) and the Biergarten one is for an early dinner.

I'm torn!

I would choose Biergarten, but that's because I love it there and I've never been that happy with the food at Coral Reef.

Kids would probably enjoy either place, though!

Just for an FYI. The lunch and dinner buffets at the Biergarten are exactly the same. Except I think the dinner might have saurbraten on it. So if you want to save a few $$$, you could book a late lunch at the Biergarten instead of your early dinner. We just did that this past Saturday. Our lunch seating was at 2:50 and we were there until after 4:15 with the same buffet out the entire time.

I loved Coral for lunch, it was the best tilapia I ever had! So delicious!

Tough choice! We just ate at the Coral Reef on 11/20 for lunch and it was really nice. The fish tanks are beautiful and all the food was good! Biergarten is a lot of fun. Good luck deciding.

I would definitely choose Biergarten. It's absolutely wonderful and I think the kids would really enjoy it. I also agree with the above poster on having lunch there, though. the buffet is exactly the same except for the Sauerbraten, so lunch is a much better deal than dinner.

I would have a hard time choosing between these, they are two of my favorites! I think they are both a lot of fun and very unique.

I love the vibe at both restaraunts: the fish tank at Coral Reef, and the "outdoor/night sky" at Biergarten. Food-wise I do prefer Biergarten, only because we have to go a little more out of our way to get German food in such concentration. Seafood/steak, we sort of have pretty readily in our neighborhood.

We're doing both now! I got an ADR for later in the week for Biergarten, so we're all set! YAY!

Good! I was going to suggest Biergarten...my DD9 and DH43 (LOL) LOVE the place.
