Coral Reef: Love the food, but what is it with the slow service?

At WDW right now. Unfortunately, family is in MK while I am working in our room. Took a tiny break to post on Coral Reef.

The background:

(a) Eating at Coral Reef about nine times over the past five years.
(b) It is our DD's favorite sit down restaurant because of the tank.
(c) The food is consistently good, no complaints at all about the food.

But, to paraphrase Jerry Seinfeld, "What is the deal with the service".

It seems to not matter how busy (or not) they are, where we are seated, what we order, but it always seems to take a very long time between being seated and being acknowledged, from drink order to drinks, from food order to food, etc.

The servers are invariably nice and good, but why is it so slow? Is it us? Do we just HAPPEN to get slow service every time we go? We don't experience this at any other WDW restaurant, so it can't be that. Is it a management style? Are they assuming people WANT to eat slow because of the atmosphere?

Last night, we went, and with six people on DDP, from sit down to leaving it took 2 hours and 5 minutes. Luckily, we come down to WDW enough that we weren't rushing but, still, that is a LONG time for us to sit down to eat.

Anyone else had this experience or is it just us?

As mentioned, food was great. Loved everything (glad they still have chocolate wave), but service was SOOOOOO slow.
