Copies of Key to the World

Why would you need copies? If you lose it you can go to the front desk at your resort and they'll replace it, no problem.

I have seen a number of people suggest that you have copies in case you lose you card while at the parks.

If you purchase tickets not as part of a package it is suggested that you record the numbers on them separately in case you lose them.

If your tickets are on the KTTW and you lose it, call the Front Desk of your Resort to report the loss and the card will be completely deactivated. Next time you go back you can go to the Front Desk and they will reissue a new card.

When we were there in October, my husband lost his card. I was freaking out b/c we were almost to the front of Soarin' when he realized he'd lost it. We had our credit card linked to that card so we could just carry the KTTW in the parks. So we decided to go on the ride, then he went to some kind of customer service, and they looked to see if anyone had used it as a credit card, and then closed it down. They gave him a new one, and it took barely any time at all. I think I will hold his card from now on.

If you have a digital camera, you can take a picture of it. However, one of my party lost her KTTW while we were in the parks, and we had no problems - they were able to replace it in the park.

Can you get more than one in case your party decides it wants to split up? We have teens and were considering the dining plan. If I have the KTTW and there is only 1 would they then have to come find me at lunch time if they want to eat?

Each person on your reservation will have their own KTTW. And each KTTW can access all of the credits on the plan (which means you have to make sure your teens know how many meals/snacks they have left - technically, they could drain the whole plan on the first day!)

Thanks...they're big boys so I could see it happening. I'll have to let them know :)

We held onto our kids' cards, and distributed them to the grandparent or parent that was gonna hang out with them if we split up. Obviously with teens that won't always work! We also only attached our credit card info to mom and dad's KTTW! I am pretty sure they asked me what ones I wanted it on, and I was like..."um...not the kids' cards please."

I took a picture of mine on my iphone, along with my license and all credit cards and medical cards fronts and backs. This eliminated extra paper work to carry around which I hate :thumbsup2

Wow... really? I hope you have a PIN number on your phone. And, even if you do, the iPhone only allows for a 4-digit PIN. Anyone patient enough would be in your phone eventually and have all of that information.

Yep, my phone has a passcode and I only take the pics for vacation. I put them all in a folder too. I don't leave them on there all the time, just put them on there when I go and delete when I'm done. My phone is also my camera so it's glued to me at all times anyhow :thumbsup2
