Coonskin caps

When I went to DW as a kid, I got a coonskin cap from Frontierland that I kept-- and wore-- even as a high school student.

So I'm wondering now-- are these still available in DL these days? How much are they? How PC (or unPC) are they to wear around the park? Think father & son matching set here.

Heck, I'd even like to start singing the "Davy Crockett" ballad with him when we're there, but I know the lyrics are very potentially offensive.

I'd also like to paddle around in the canoes wearing these once-fashionable caps, but I can imagine how his cap might look once it falls into the Rivers of America! Drowned rat, anyone?

I don't have an answer for you - but I just wanted to share that we were recently at Cabela's & my DD was completely offended that people might wear a raccoon skin on their head! LOL - I TRIED to explain what it was all about & even reminded her about the song on our Disney CD & Sing Along video....but no, I couldn't convince the child.
