Cooling neck ties-where?

I was thinking of trying one of these cooling neck ties for our next trip. Where can I find them without paying a fortune. I heard they're for sale at Disney, but they probably cost a fortune there. Any suggestions?

Simba's Mom - I tried the sporting goods section at WalMart and couldn't find them. Did you find any? If so, what is the exact name for these things?
I'm going to try the online store. I may call all our area WalMarts to see if ANYONE has them!

I have never used one of these things before, if you where the bandana around your neck will you clothes get wet? Same question for if you bought the baseball hat, since you soak the hat then wear it, will you hair be all wet, or do the crystals (?) within the hat absorb all of the water?

Please help me understand. These might come in handy for our end of Aug trip.

The crystals absorb it all. You soak them, then you wring the excess out.

The ones that I have also have an ice pack in them so you can stay extra cool.

I believe the seller makes them herself. They worked ok, but I found them a bit awkward to have around my neck because they get pretty plump when wet. I think they were only a few $ for each. Unfortunately, I don't recall the seller's id. I would just do a search under "cooling bandanas".

I also make them (not the one on Ebay). They work great!! If the one you had got too plump, it has too many crystals in it. They are very easy to make. My grandfather sells them at his festivals he does. If anyone needs more info, plese feel free to PM me.

We bought one at our Fine Arts Festival a few years ago, really neat....it didn't get too plump and stayed cool for a long time. I didn't like to wear it, but DH used it while mowing the lawn.

I have 2 of these I'd be willing to give away, they are a royal blue color! Let me know if you want them! They are in the garage sale pile, we never tried them so dont know if they work or not, LOL!
