cooling down in late June...

I just bought a misty mate and am wondering for my trip in late June, do I still need the personal fan or will the misting be enough? I feel like between the ponchos and water bottles and now this mister, we are going to be majorly loaded down with stuff thru the parks. I am just trying to only take what is really necessary.

I posted some suggestions about beating the heat. What we do is bring a baggie with a wash cloth in it. It's small enogh to fit in the fanny pack. When we get super warm, we head for the bathroom and wet it with ice cold water. We then wash up a bit. It's a cool and refreshing way to stay cooler...
