I need some help! I am going to rent a stroller for the days at the parks and I was wanting to carry a small collapsible cooler to carry drinks in. Has anyone ever encountered this, and how do you do this. I don't want to carry the cooler around all day and from what I have read most of the strollers for the parks don't have a bottom to put the cooler, AND I can't afford to rent a double stroller, so it's a single with my 4 year old packed in it.

Any suggestions out there???:wave2:

You will not have any place to put a cooler unless it is very light and you can sit it on top of the canopy. We always get the double and put the cooler on the front part of the stroller where the child's feet go or on some, we put the stroller on the bar that's underneath the seats in the middle. The single stroller has no room to put anything especially with a four year old in it. I wish they would've designed the strollers with more storage space.

We just got back from WDW Sunday evening. We brought our own small umbrella stroller and rented a double at the parks. Our 3 and 4 year old were in the double and we had a small colaspable cooler. It was big enough to hold 2 24oz bottles of water, 3 Capri Sun, 3 diapers, plus wipes, crackers, sun screen, and lots of other small items. Most the time the cooler was either on the canopy or in the seat at the kids feet, or sometimes my 4 yr old would want to sit foward and the cooler was behind him. But with a single you should have no problem hanging it over the handle. At MGM where the canopy isn't strong enough just hang it on the handle. Don't get discouraged you can do it for sure! Also, for refilling water bottles, check the water fountains, a lot of them are hooked up to refrigeration and the water is ice cold! When I found one of those I was in heaven! :Pinkbounc

and bought an Igloo brand cooler for 7.99 at Big Lots that has a strap that will ATTACH to the Disney Strollers! The cooler is red and teal and it will hold about a six pack of drinks and some other small things with ice packs. I had just this dilemma because I like to take a small cooler but there is nowhere to store it (and my kids were getting tired of propping their legs up on it), etc. If you have a Big Lots near you, it's a great gadget for the price! ;)

Thanks everyone for all the great tips.
The cooler at Big Lots sounds great, unfortunately I won't have time to get to BL's cause I leave tomorrow! :Pinkbounc But I am going to check out Walmart tonight and try to find a smaller cooler that won't be so heavy. I have a collapsible one from Disney, but I think it will be much too big to try to take in.

One ?, Mollybelle, how did your cooler strap to the stroller? was it just a snap strap that you just hung it off the handle of the stroller? I could handle that I think! My first park will be Ak on Sat. so if the cooler drives me crazy on that shorter day, then I will have to think of something else!

Thanks again!!! I'm Getting So EXCITED!!!!!:hyper: :hyper:
