Question... This will be our first trip to DW in January, but last summer we went to DL. I noticed there was a cooking class for kids at DL, is there anything like this at DW? It looked like the kids were having a blast with their chef hats on and decorating cookies! Any info. would be appreciated!

Yes it is called Grand Adventures in Cooking and it is held at the Grand Floridian. From allearsnet:

Grand Adventures in Cooking - Children will handpaint their own apron, decorate a chef hat, read a story, and share their creations with others. Children who are potty trained and ages 4-10 may attend. Held in the Mouseketeer Club.

Tuesday and Friday 10 - 11:45 a.m.
Available to all guests, cost is $28.17 plus tax
Reservations 180 days in advance at 407-WDW-DINE.

I thought in The Land area of Epcot they have the Cookie thing as well.

My kids have done the Land cooking thing-they made cookies. It's cute and fun and free. They got chef hats and got to keep them.

My sister's kids have done the Grand Adventures in cooking and she raved about it.

Hope that helps.
