I always stay on Disney property but want to plan a one day trip over to Universal Studios. I wanna see the Simpsons ride and eat at Margaritaville. I havent been to Universal since before they built IOA. I plan on taking a day away from WDW and going to Universal NOT IOA. My biggest concern is.. spending the money for a shuttle/cab round trip from disney to universal. Spending money for admission to the theme park (I dont know how much it is-have to look it up) and then being stuck standing in lines all day and not being able to see much.

They dont offer a fast pass to people not staying on universals property, correct? We'll be there in September so hopefully crowds will be low. Im not familiar with universal crowds..

if anyone has any advice or information. I would sure appreciate it.

thanks =)

For an extra $10 get the 2 park/1 day ticket ($77 online vs $67 online 1 park). September should be relatively quiet and you should be able to hit the best of both parks in a day.

I couldn't imagine going to US without also seeing IOA. You really must check it out. :thumbsup2

100% agree, whether you're a thrill ride fan or not, IOA is something very special, just walking through it is an experience!

We were there in sept 07 - 2 weeks from 16/09 - and you most certainly did not need a fast pass... it was walk on's all over the place!

Seriously - our days at Disney were hampered by crowds but everywhere else (US, IOA, SW, BGT) was no problem at all.

Thanks for the info.. i have been to both parks (IOA once a few years ago and only rode 4 rides..-spiderman--dueling dragons...jurassic park and hulk.) but none of the others i be traveling with have ever been. I will get the 2 park pass if in fact the lines will be short enough and we'll have the time. we only get one day so we have to do both in one day.

thanks again!!!!!
xoxo
