This one is mostly for fun…

The Date: 2-13-23

The Park: MK

Why should we choose a different park?

Honestly, I love Animal Kingdom. It feels so chill to me compared to the other parks, and more than any other park, I really feel like I'm in another part of the world. If I only had one day, I'd seriously consider spending it there.

You only want to ride Guardians?

You're an adult an an infant and just want to look at animals?

You have been dreaming about Star Wars since you were a kid and don't want to leave Galaxy's Edge?

You really want to get drunk all day?
so are you saying that's 2 out of 4 for EPCOT?

I'm with Princesca in voting Animal Kingdom. It's my favorite park there as well. Really immerse yourself in the different areas. Has great thrills with Dinosaur, Everest, and Flight of Passage. Shows like Festival of Lion King, Nemo, and Tough to be a Bug. Calmer experiences like Na'vi River Journey and the train, as well as Kali Rapids (tame compared to most rapids rides so kind of between calm and thrill). Great animal experiences with the different animal trails, oasis area, and the safari is great. And there is usually still some walk around characters and streetmosphere compared to the other parks.

Didn't you go to Disneyland last year or am I thinking of another user? If so, then skip MK. It's an overall weaker version of Disneyland. I would vote for Epcot and AK for the uniqueness of the atmosphere and attractions as well as them being more laidback than MK and HS.

If little kids, MK. If just you as an adult, Epcot. It

With Galaxy's Edge, Star Tours, Indiana Jones, Fantasmic, and Runaway Railaway (opening this month) Disneyland is basically like mashing Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios together. Plus I imagine many people that go to Disneyland also visit California Adventure which adds in Toy Story Midway Mania, Tower of Terror/Guardians, Aliens Swirling Saucers/Junkyard Jamboree. And both have launched looping coasters. So agreed if someone recently visited Disneyland Resort, then I'd say Animal Kingdom (great for rides, animals, and shows) or EPCOT (great for food, shopping, and relaxed environment) are the top choices for WDW.

Didn't even think of it that way. I was just doing a direct Disneyland to MK comparison. In another thread, OP said they wanted to go to the least stressful Disney parks so I think Epcot and AK fit the bill in that regard along with the attractions.

We did! And we also said we were going to take a break from WDW….

You see how long that lasted….

This is mostly a US & IOA trip.

You are into Dinos

Or
You like visiting a lot of countries in one day
Art is your jam
Beer and lots of it
You like being out of this world
Rats are your friend
You are into hang gliding
How to grow things is neat
Fishes, lots and lots of fishes
The smell of Rome burning is cool
Artsy food is your jam
