I'm attending a convention in September and we are staying at Contemporary Resort. I have purchased our tickets with the discount and booked the rooms. When I go to do fastpasses it will not let me. It says that park admission is required but when i go under tickets it has mine and my husband name connected to the convention tickets. Is there a certain time before the convention when i can start booking fastpasses?

OP, if you're going in September, you're more than 60 days out.

• Ticket or annual pass – make selections up to 30 days in advance
• Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation – start making selections as early as 60 days―plus the number of days of your stay―prior to your check-in date

I too am in the same situation. We are going in September and I was trying to make fp+ for 60 days from today as practice, but it won't let me. Our tickets show as "pre-arrival in MDE. does yours say that?

I *think* what's happening is that MDE can see when your arrival is and will not let you "practice" by booking FP+ on dates you're not eligible for them. My understanding is that FP+ is only available to resort guests, so if you don't have a room booked for 60 days from today you can't book an FP+ for 60 days from today.

Convention/meeting "tickets will be valid for use only on the specific dates of the applicable meeting or convention and for a limited period of time before and/or after the applicable meeting or convention as determined by Disney."

Since your tickets for a September meeting will not be valid for a date that is 60 days from today (which would be Aug. 20), you can't make trial FP+ selections yet. You would need to wait until you are within 60 days prior to the date when you can begin using those tickets before you can attempt to make FP+ selections.

If you have tickets that aren't part of a package, you can practice making FP reservations for dates within 30 days of the current date.
