Convention Park Passes

Convention passes can be purchased at your resort guest service desk (Includes the Yacht and Beach Resort and All Star’s Resort) after you check into the resort. The reservation will show as part of the convention so show your Key to the World Card to Guest Services as proof on convention attendance. Convention passes can be purchased any time during the convention dates that includes 3 days prior/post convention. Event Only can show their DIS Convention Lanyard as proof of attendance. I wil be providing Yacht Club Convention Services with a list of names of all convention attendees if you arrive early that is the best place to buy your passes, of have the All Stars Hotel call Yacht Club Conventions if they have a questions. If you have any problems call me at the Yacht Club and leave a message - I will check my voice mail at least every couple of hours (arrival 11/26).

All passes include unlimited visits and parkhopping to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM, and Animal Kingdom

Pass prices (include tax):

2-day $102 adult, $81 child
3-day $152 adult, $121 child
***2-day and 3-day convention passes include one plus visit to either Disney Quest or Pleasure Island

4-day $202 adult, $161 child
***Includes 4 plus visits to Disney Quest or Pleasure Island

5-day $230 adult, $182 child
***Includes 5 plus visits to Disney Quest or Pleasure Island

Linda, I have a question. It seems as though one adult in my party will need a park pass after all and we are signed up to the events only, will the prices still be the same as posted here and how do we go about ordering one adult park pass? Sorry about the mix-up. Thanks in advance.

Linda,

Any way of getting a 5 day hopper without any trips to Disney Quest and Pleasure Island, or should I just go through my regular channels to get that kind of pass?

TIA,
Steve

Steve - the Disney Club price for a 5-day hopper is $219.42. One admission to PI is $21, and DQ is even more. If you plan to visit either PI or DQ at least once, then the convention hopper is a better deal.

I've got an old hopper that has 1 visit to Pleasure Island on it, which I'll use for the Adventurer's Club meet, and after my (lack of) performance on Buzz Lightyear and Men in Black a couple weeks ago, I probably won't do DisneyQuest, but I'll have to give that some thought. Thanks, Nancy.

Steve - is your 1 leftover day ONLY good at Pleasure Island, or could it be used at a water park, too? If it were me, I'd spend the extra $10.58 for the convention pass and use that for the Adventurer's Club meet. Save your leftover day for another WDW visit (I'm SURE there will be another!), when Pleasure Island or a water park are even more expensive.

Boy Nancy, you sure know how to 'work' this. ;)

She sure does! What I have is a leftover 6 day hopper plus pass. None of the "extras" were used, and there's one day left on the parks. Just looked it up and I've got 3 visits on this one to either PI, the water parks, or Wide World of Sports. I might be a little less self-conscious and go to the water parks since I've lost the 30 pounds I wanted to do originally. Guess I won't be throwing that ticket away for a while!

Thanks for all the suggestions. :)

Hi Linda - me again! Did you ever get an answer from Disney whether Events Only Attendees can get a discounted pass for the convention? Thanks in advance!

Linda is out of town right now at her brother's wedding. She's checking some things out for me too, but she's suppose to get back to me next week sometime.

I think the same passes are available to events-only attendees as to those with the hotel pkgs.

I think that the question is raised because the original post says:

The reservation will show as part of the convention so show your Key to the World Card to Guest Services as proof on convention attendance.

Since my KTTW card will not have any reference to the convention (events-only), the question is how to convince guest services to sell me a convention park pass. Will the convention lanyard be enough?

Hi I am new to these boards and noticed I will be staying during convention. Can I join in the festivities? I am so excited aas so many of you will be there during my trip, but also a bit nervous as I have learned so much from these boards and will be competing for an Illuminations Cruise and Cindy's ressies with some of the best vacation planners around!!!!!
:D :D :D :D

I am going to let this one drop.. as it is an old one from our previous DisConvention.. Hugs everyone..
