Contrave by Takeda

Has anyone tried, or know someone who's tried Contrave? My Dr suggested I try it. It took me a month to fill the prescription, and it's been sitting on my nightstand now for about 2 weeks now. I hate the idea of taking a pill, I have a hard time taking anything other than vitamins and ibuprofen, lol.

That's ok, I believe it relativity new, or newly approved, weight loss drug. Supposedly it contains ingredients that deal with addiction, for people like me who often just mindlessly eat. But like all medication, it has side effects.

I actually did try the Contrave, but had to stop a couple weeks in due to some other health issues that were going on. The only side effect I had was a little bit of nausea, perhaps from the naloxone, but it also could have been from the other issue. I am trying to get myself motivated to start taking it again. If you decide to start, let me know, and we can be Contrave weight loss buddies!
