Hi Dis friends!

DH and I are headed to WDW from October 27-November 3 for the Food and Wine Festival and the RunDisney races. We are staying at BW in a one bedroom villa. We have October 27-November 1 booked on our DVC points, and November 1-3 booked through a cash reservation. DVC member services has our two reserationvs linked and it is noted as a "continuing reservation". We have the garden/pool category booked for both reservations, and DVC member services indicated it will not be a problem to stay in the same villa for the duration of our trip.

My ADR window is quickly approaching, and I'm wondering how dining reservations work with two different but continuing reservations? Will I be able to book ADRs for my whole trip (over both reservations) on the first day that the booking window opens? If not, can DVC member services help me with these bookings? I'm just not sure how this works, exactly.

Any advice or info folks have would be fantastic. Thank you so much!

Noting the reservations as continuing helps the room assigners try to keep you in the same room for both reservations. Unfortunately, it doesn’t help with ADRs. You have to make your ADRs separately at 60 days from the start of each reservation.

@focusondisney thanks for the info. Got it. Thanks so much for the info. I wondered if this would be the case.

@traveler9 I apologize...I'm confused? Make another reservation? Clearly, I haven't had enough coffee this am to process this info. :goodvibes

I have been making ressies this week. I have four resort ressies for the BCV because some days are passholder rates and some are cash. Because of that, they are also continuous but can not be combined and I have four mornings that I have to make ADRs. The only good thing is that, so far, I have gotten everything I have wanted within 5 min of my desired time. Including Art Smith and the R & C fireworks package. Good luck

Make another placeholder reservation for the purpose of booking ADRs. If it overlaps your entire stay you’ll be able to book ADRs as if you did not have a split stay.

If you call the dining number 60 days out from the beginning of your first reservation often they will make the ADR's for you for the second leg of your trip. I've personally done this and the CM acted as if it was something she did all the time. It was very easy. However I've read varying reports of success with this on these boards so YMMV. I guess it all depends on who you get on the phone.
