I think sherry, it just was not meant to be with you and i, HECK if they were giving away free men, i probably would loose that battle also!

I think it's probably just not my time to be lucky. I'm used to losing contests - it's become the usual thing!! Hopefully you will at least get lucky tomorrow, Funball - one more day to go!! I think I've given up hope!

Any why were the colors supposed to match before you start the game? That makes absolutely no sense. When I won my gift card this morning the starting color did not match the color stated as the color of the day, but did when I clicked stop. If for some reason the color did match before you started the game it wouldn't guarantee that the colors would match after "spinning" so to speak. It's not like that means you win. You want the colors to match after, not before.

Jazz, I don't know if the colors were supposed to match before clicking Start, but mine did at first, which is what I was explaining. What I was referring to wasn't really about winning unless it meant there was a technical glitch preventing someone from winning, which was what I wasn't sure of at first. I just took it to mean that when they said my color was red or yellow or whatever, they were showing me the example of what the red bottle looked like or what the yellow bottle looked like, etc., and what color bottle would be required to match after I clicked Start. It was more for example purposes, I thought. Yes, I can figure out what's red and yellow, but some places like to spell it out for you!!

Anyway, as I stated in my earlier post, the first several times I entered - whether the outcome was the wallpaper or nothing - my colors of the day and my bottles matched before I clicked Start. I noticed it every time and I thought, "Okay, they want us to see what a red bottle looks like or an orange bottle looks like!" LOL! Then the last two times the color and the bottle stopped matching before I clicked Start, so that's when I started wondering if there was a glitch because it was different from what I had been seeing. It could have just been a total fluke, which is what I'm starting to think, but as I said, I got matching colors and bottles before clicking Start for the first several tries/days in a row, wallpaper or no wallpaper.

I don't think there is a question of anyone not understanding that the bottle color has to match your assigned color of the day when you click Stop - that's a given! Everyone on this thread knows that! But I was thrown off because I had several days of the matching color & bottle pre-play and then all of a sudden I didn't so I wasn't sure what it meant at the time.

It's not a big deal, really!

I really honestly won 2 1 day park hoppers and I am so excited! I won at 1:47 am... I was thinking that today is the last day and they prolly will have alot of prizes for all those who enter first thing in the morning! Well thank you for this game! I have never won tickets before or any contest! Wow this is exciting- now I can maybe convince DH and other 2 kids to go to DL for Halloween with me and the baby!

..yes Elizabeth sherry and I know how to play the game—but the point we try to make was. That we would get the color of the day, but the bottle color was not the same, and so when we hit “start” it would be wrong and we’d not win.

Like we would have color of the day red and the bottle orange, but really what was suppose to happen was have the color of the day match the color of the bottle, do you understand?

Yep, I saw after Sherry's response that you were talking about the bottle color at the beginning of the game, and not the end.

Ok to just let you all know, I am now going to play again, and it tells me the color is yellow but showing me a pink(maybe red) bottle……. I know I am going to loose it’s got a glitch!!

And I just hit start.. and I now I stopped it and oh go figure!! It stopped on orange and told me lights out.

I was kind of hoping for people that there would be one last big wave of prizes won because it's the last day! (I already didn't win today, so that's it for me, but I wish this for everyone else!) You know, like maybe they would be sitting around at Coke and/or Ralphs, saying, "Well, we still have X number of Hoppers that haven't been won and X number of WoC packages, etc., so since we are running out of time, let's just make everyone who enters for the next few hours a winner!" Probably wishful thinking - maybe the bulk of the good prizes have been won already. But since it's a randomized process, there is still hope for everyone who enters before the day ends.

Disneylandkitkat - has this contest been discussed over on Micechat too? Or on Mouseplanet? I just wondered if tons of people from all the boards were entering or if this is a contest that is mainly known of over here on the DIS.

yep..it did that for me twice right now, i used two emails.. shows me yellow as the color but the bottle was red,, again!!!! ok i tried it again , with my other email.. 3rd time is a charm right.. well no not really, it did finally show me orange with orange bottle, no glich..BUT when i spun the colors it landed on red....

I don't think it matters that color bottle is showing when it tells you the color of the day before you hit start. When I played for my mom the color of the day was red but the bottle was orange and when it stopped it landed on red so she won the wallpaper. If the color of the day matched the bottle color before you hit start it is just a coinsidence.
