contempory or poly

What are your comments about the contemporary verses the poly. I am leaning more towards the contempary. My only problem seems to be that we need one room for 4 adults and 2 kids. I believe they only allow 5 one being a kid. How strict are they on that? the second kid will only be 3.

I think if the second child is 3 or under they can be in the room with you as well. Both resorts have really big rooms but I think the rooms at the Contemporary are bigger. Plus you can walk to the MK which is a cool feature. But the theming at the Polynesian is better in my opinion. I love the tropical feel and the location of the Polynesian cannot be beat. You can hop the monorail or boat to the MK, walk to the TTC to get the monorail to Epcot and when we stayed there, the bus service to MGM and AK was great. I think the Polynesian offers more of a true vacation feel. But the Contemporary is cool, too. Depends on your taste.

Disney isn't strict, but you will be a little tight, no matter how big the rooms are. How old is the older kid? The day bed will only fit one.

As for your question, it depends: do a search and you'll see the Contemporary provokes some violent reactions. I love both for different reasons. Go to www.wdwig.com, read the fact sheets, study the pictures, and figure out which resort best suits your needs and taste.

The CR has its benefits, but the tropical theme is so cool. Either way, you'll be staying at one of the original WDW resorts
