Contemporary to All-Star Sports after MK closes

My mother and I have reservations at Chef Mickey's for 7:30 P.M. We will be taking the bus to MK earlier in the day and then taking the monorail to the Contemporary Hotel for dinner. Since MK closes early that night what is the best way to get back to the All Star Sports?

If you finish your dinner before EPCOT closes, take the monorail to EPCOT (you'll have to take the resort monorail and then transfer to the EPCOT monorail at the TTC) and at EPCOT, transfer to the All Star Sports bus. If EPCOT is closed, you can take a bus to Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island and then transfer there to the All Star Sports bus. THis could take more than an hour. You could also take a taxi. This would be the fastest way back. I think it will cost between $10 - $15, including a tip.
