Contemporary Room Map

Trying to figure out what rooms to request at the CR. What numbered rooms are located near the elevators and what numbered rooms face Bay Lake? And while I'm thinking about it, how good is the soundproofing in the rooms? I'm aware of the noise from Chef Mickey's but how about from other guests around and above you?

If you're thinking about making a room request though, instead of specifying room numbers just say something simple like "near elevators". That tells the room assigner what is important to you.

By all accounts, the sound proofing is pretty good so the CM noise shouldn't be a problem.

We stayed in a Magic Kingdom View room in the Tower last June. We loved everything about it! Our room was on the 6th floor right when you got off the elevator. My only issue is this....our room also looked over the area where the monorail operators stand...several nights when we were trying to sleep they were so noisy talking in such loud voices I could hear them and it drove me nuts. We are going back this year so I would either like a higher floor or to be farther away from the boarding area for the monorail.
