Contemporary Resort Restaurant Rehab's?

It has been posted by someone on the Resort boards that CM's at the CR said renovations will begin within the next few months affecting the CR restaurants.

It has been reported that Chef Mickey's will be expanded, the Concourse SH and the Outer Rim Lounge will be moved to the first floor, and the Food 'N' Fun court will be moved to the Grand Concourse.

We have reservations at both the Concourse and CM for late September and the rehab was never mentioned.

I haven't heard anything else about this and was hoping someone might be able to confirm the rehab. Does anyone have more info on this?

It would make sense to expand CM's. It is one of the most popular restaurants.

Yikes! I am sooooo excited for our Sept. stay. I really hope that there isn't a lot of construction going on. It would make more sense to start it after the holidays though wouldn't it?

I called the front desk at the CR and they are not aware of any rehab's scheduled (other than the ongoing room rehab which is running behind schedule). I think too that with Disney's new celebration due to kick off Oct 1st, they would not want to tear up one of the original hotels.

I was freaking too when I read the original poster's report, but am starting to calm down now! helps LOL!

I have also emailed WDW and will post what I hear.
