My husband is turning down Poly since I is $850 more than CR.

So which one. Does bc or the garden rooms at cr have balconies? My husband says bc looks like a more fun place. Cr looks boring. Thoughts?

What about quick service? Which one has the better restaurant?

We will give the pool edge to bc. We will give location to cr because Mk is our fave!

CR Garden Rooms do not have balconies. Have stayed in one. BC rooms have either a full balcony or Juliette Balcony (very small one person standing room only balcony). You can request a full balcony but not guaranteed. I had booked BC and cancelled because my children are obsessed with QS options. You can say that BC has a few QS options in the area. Many people will make do. But it is nothing like, CR, Poly or Mod resorts. Table service is a toss up. Cape May Cafe is awesome at BC. You already covered pool. We are staying in a Tower Bay Lake View for MNSSHP this Fall. CR has it benefits... So does BC. It is a personal choice as are most resort decisions. HTH:goodvibes

If you want a guaranteed balcony go with Yacht Club instead of BC. They all have balconies except 1st floor has patios. I'd choose BC/YC over CR personally I just prefer the theme and pool options at BC over CR

we just booked CR wing for our next trip. We were on the fence with BC and CR also. But chose CR bc of the monorail. it is so convenient.

We've never stayed at the CR so I can't comment on that resort, but the BC is a beautiful resort and we enjoyed our stay. As the pp said, not all rooms at the BC have a balcony so if that's important to you, I would go with the YC. The CS options at the BC/YC are very limited. The Marketplace, located in the BC gift shop, has grab-n-go items, but not alot of variety, especially for hot breakfast items (no waffles, eggs, bacon, etc). If limited CS isn't an issue for you, the BC or YC would be a great resort to try as the grounds are beautiful and it's great being within walking distance to Epcot and DHS. Good luck.

See I prefer CR this next trip. BUT I prefer going for 10 days at Por over one week at Cr. Dh would rather stay at CR for 7 days. Ugh

Could you split? We are doing 2 nights POR, and then 8 Poly CL, because we don't want to pay Poly CL prices for 10 nights!!! :scared1:

We have stayed at the CR twice and last time we did Poly for the first time. Next year we are trying BC for the first time and can't wait. With that said I was just telling DH how I missed the CR. the trip after our 2013 trip will include CR but not for a full stay. Probably will end up doing a split stay with BC unless BC totally wins us over! I know this wasn't much help!

If MK is your favorite park and you'll be going there a lot, then CR really is a no brainer since you can walk back and forth to MK. It's a huge perk. CR has a larger quick service area than BC does. However, we always enjoy our food at BC quick service, even though selection is not great.

I think BC has a lot more to offer as far as things to do within walking distance (mini golf, boardwalk, Espn, Epcot, HS, surrey bike rentals). And, yes, the BC pool is one of the best in Disney, if not THE best.

Personally, I always just choose a resort and then plan our meals and parks days which fit best with the particular resort. We just returned from CR and therefore ate quite a few meals at CR, Poly, and GF being that they are easy to access via monorail. We also went to MK quite a lot being that we could walk there. When we stay at BC, I plan lots of meals in the Epcot countries being that we can walk there, and I also plan lots of non-park time due to everything there is to do.

Hi OP. CR is not boring. Kids love the monorail running through the resort. It's also fun and easy to get to FW and do some of the activities there. You just take a boat. For QS options, you have the one at the CR, a quick monorail to the Poly (we enjoy captain cooks) and the GF. Also, watching the fireworks from the CR or the Poly beach are easy to do while staying at the CR. Same with the electric water parade. You can request a first floor room at CR. I believe they have patios. And the rooms are a little bigger at CR than BC.

We stayed on the ground floor of the CR garden wind and loved it. They have sliding doors that open right up onto the grounds- and you have the lake right behind you. It was amazing to watch the little boat parade every night. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in a wing room at CR and felt like we could have been at anyother hotel around. We weren't impressed at all and haven't stayed there since. We love the Epcot resorts and you couldn't go wrong with any of them - BW, BC, YC. We just got back from BC and stayed at the YC in June and for years before this stayed at the BW. If you want the guaranteed full balcony go with YC since BC is not guaranteed. The atmosphere and theming is among the best. The BW is also a fun resort.
