Contemporary- free short term parking?

We are renting a car the day we check out via the Car Care Center. I have arranged for a shuttle to take me to the CCC, and then I plan to drive back to the Contemporary and pick up my family and luggage. Does anyone know if I can park curbside for a few minutes or if they will allow me free "short term" parking? I am not going to pay for parking (we would be 10 mins max) but it would be much more convenient to swing back to the Contempo and grab the fam & bags rather than put everyone & everything on the CCC shuttle. Has anyone done this before? Any tips?

People are allowed 3 hours parking for an ADR, shopping, etc. I don't think you'll be allowed to leave your car unattended at the curb. But you can park and help your family bring everything down. They can wait at the curb while you get the car, drive up, and load.

Thank you @Kimberle ! If I can park for a few minutes (without paying $24!) that's all I'll need.

You only pay the $24 for "Overnight" parking at the Deluxe resorts and not during the day. The fee is $13 per night at Value resorts, $19 at Moderate resorts as of 3/21/2018 (reservations make after this date).
