Contemporary CL IPO & ADRs

Can someone who has used the IPO at the Contemporary tell me how much luck they've had with getting hard to get ADRs through them? I was also wondering if they can get reservations for the Candle Light Processional package even though these reservations will be released after my ADR date.

For Club Level IPO, I always recommend getting online at your 180 days at 6AM and booking everything you can yourself. There is no "dedicated inventory" for the IPO, so for tough-to-get-stuff, you want to do it yourself at 180.

For CP, again, no dedicated inventory. I would tell IPO what you want (restaurant, date) for CP, but also try to book it yourself. If you end up double-booked, it is easier to cancel one than to get one if availability disappears fast.

I haven't had experience with the latter part of your question, but for the first part, I've had good success with harder to get ADRs with the CR IPO (really the GF/CR IPO), especially when I call as opposed to email. The last two visits I have had, certain hard or harder to get ADRs were showing no availability when I looked on MDE, but when I called, I was able to get the times I wanted when I literally just looked online and MDE showed no availability less than a minute before. I've repeatedly seen references that there is no dedicated inventory and the CMs have also told me this, but somehow I have lucked out on multiple instances. I usually book the hardest to get ADRs myself and then call into the IPO later that day to fill in any gaps in case I am unsuccessful (I haven't gotten yet completely comfortable acceding the entire ADR process to the IPO, but each year, I ask them to do more and more given their high level of success). I've used the CR/GF IPO to fill in gaps with BOG, CM, CG, CRT, Akershus, Via Napoli, Crystal Palace, etc. For BOG, I've always been successful with getting the lunch ADR time I wanted. For dinner, I've gotten an ADR off after being put on the wait list in instances where I wasn't able to book the dinner ADR by myself first.
