Considering WDW with a 2,4,5 and 6 yo. Any advice?

We are considering planning our first trip to WDW in Feb 2007. Will there be enough to keep our young children happy or is it better to wait another 1-2 years?

We took our 6,3, and 1 yr old in Feb...and I think it is a great time to go! The lines were very little! I can say without a doubt we got to do and ride more that trip than any of our others trips. And this was our first trip without help(a grandparent usually goes) and the kids weren't whiny b/c of the heat and humidity. We purchased a My Pal Mickey for the younger two to play with, but our 6yr old loved it the most. We also took full advantage of the parent swap tickets. There are many rides for a 2yr old to love(Dumbo, teacups, Winnie, Peter Pan, Small World, Cindy's Carousel, Aladin, and on and on) When we went we rode these many times and our 19m at the time loved them! Our 6yr old was tall enough to ride the Rock n Rollercoaster this trip...she loved it! We would highly reccommend going!

There is plenty to keep them happy. MK is definitely a crowd pleaser for that age set. (Dumbo, Carosel, Winnie the Poo, Tea Cups, Mickey's Toontown Fair, Small World, Aladdin's Carpet Ride, Country Bear Jamboree...) Just plan ahead and make to to schedule in naps and breaks.

My advice is Go!Go!Go! There is so much for everyone of every age, there is truly no other place like WDW for children, even the very young!!! Your kids will love most of the rides, but don't forget about the parades and fireworks! Kids also enjoy taking a boat ride and just splashing at the pools. Have a great time.

Honestly, since you are already going to be paying for 3 of the kids, since they are over age 3, I would wait a few years. Even 2 years. Your oldest will definitely still enjoy Disney at age 8 but having your youngest a little older will be easier on everyone. Also, more chance that they will all remember more.

Personally if it were me, I would wait a couple more years. Disney can be very magical even at a little older age. I would want everyone to be happy and remember the trip!

I say GO and have FUN!! WDW is all about children and they will love it. My DS is 22 months old and he's been to WDW twice now. We're planning on going again in September.

We've taken our 3 girls at very young ages and had alot of fun. Just be sure it is slow season, have a couple strollers and know ahead of time that you wont see everything. We found it best to get to the park early (but we are early risers at home), eat at normal times, pack snacks (even PB&J's worked great for lunches), and go with the flow. We were always back to the resort well before their bedtimes and the youngest napped in the stroller while we pushed it around in a quiet area (behind the Christmas store in MK is nice & quiet and not well known, but often they would nap with lots of noise too. We didn't take mid-day breaks at the hotel.

We always had family members tell us we were crazy. However, we knew enough to keep them on schedule, take full days off to relax in between, and avoid the comando touring. We always had a blast, and the memories my husband & I have are precious. The youngest ones always talked about the parades, so they remembered. Now they are 12, 11 & 8 and WDW is our favorite vacation to take - it's different fun at different ages.

One mistake we made was going to Epcot when they were little. It is too large and spread out, and not enough to keep the attention of that many young ones. Have fun whatever you decide!!!!!
