Considering using one of the Kids clubs

And I have a couple questions. I have two DDs, one will be just turned five and the other will be almost 7, and the older one has celiac. The cost per kid, is that per hour or for the whole night?

I am wondering how far in advance we need to reserve and does that change if we have a kid with special dietary needs? My DH would rather wait until we're there to see if that's what we want to do or not. We aren't on as long a trip as we have in the past, and we have our ADRs set, not thinking about the kids club. (But I think we can change them, it's not like BoG or anything.)

It would be me, my DH and my sister and we'd probably hit Epcot. We're staying at CR, so we were thinking about taking them to the Neverland club for what their interests are, but then it's just a short monorail hop back to our resort.

Any input is appreciated!

It's per child per hour. You don't have to reserve very far in advance and in some can do same day or walk ups. However never land is very popular so you probably want to make a reservation a day or so in advance. They can do special dietary needs.

We personally found kids night out more economical for two kids but that's an in room service so some are not comfortable with that.

Kids Clubs are great!! I highly recommend them. The cost is per kid/per hour. If you book a package you get a coupon for 15% off or something close to that. I think it's a great deal - usually costs us about $70 or so? That includes their dinner..

We usually do at least 1 night...kids prefer 2 - 3 over a 10 night vacation.

You might want to double check - I thought NEverland Club was closed/closing for a bit this year?

The only one we have not done is the one at Grand Floridian - but i highly recommend all of them thus far!

According to Disney's website, the Neverland club is closing from the end of January (so closed already, I assume) until April. I can't recall the exact dates, though. I was hoping to take my mom and oldest daughter to V&A for dinner and put my other kids up at one of the clubs. I used the one at the GF a few years ago, but it's not available anymore (I assume that location or parts of it are now part of the villas).

We've used the club at AKL and the Poly. I don't know how distinctly different they are in terms of activities. The theming might be different for each (and I think Tikiman said the Neverland club will be Hawaiian themed after it re-opens), but the rest is standard (food, crafts). My kids really enjoyed them both times and didn't want to leave.

For now, I plan to out my kids up at the Poly, since we're not traveling until August and it should be open. If not, we'll go with the one at the WL. I can't speak to how early you need to reserve a space. I always do it right away so I know I have the space reserved. My son is allergic to peanuts and I've never had an issues as far as his dietary needs (realizing it's a good bit different from celiac). I find disney in general is very good about accommodating food allergies.

We took our kids to the Sandcastle Club at the Beach Club. They had a great time. We had dinner on the Boardwalk, then walked around Epcot and stayed for Illuminations. They were there for 4 hours and with the package coupon, it was about $80. It was totally worth it for them to have some "normal" kid time - playing video games, board games, doing crafts, etc.

We are planning to use this for the first time in July. Though we are staying at WL we would use the Poly's facilities since we are having our anniversary dinner at Ohanas. I would be nervous if we were at two separate properties! We have dietary issues as well so it's good to hear they are so accommodating. Hopefully the Neverland Club is reopened by then. Tiki man was reporting that though they posted an April re opening, reports revealed it could be closed for up to a year! That seems really long so hopefully the posted info is accurate!
