We are 50 days out. We almost always go during free dining, and then upgrade to the deluxe dining plan. I am thinking at this late date that we might want to drop the deluxe dining from our reservation and just do the standard, and pay out of pocket for any additional TS meals over our allotment, which would free up some park time for us, and also lower our overall costs.
Here's my question: if the trip is already paid for, how will Disney handle refunding the difference now that the overall trip cost will be lower? Do they just automatically put it back on the card you used to make payment? Or is there an option to have them apply the balance to your reservation to cover room charges?
