We have owned one Toshiba laptop along with a Dell, IBM, and 2 HP PCs.

This would be used for small business purposes mainly and downloading pictures from a digital camera on trips to WDW. Yes, 7 trips later and we still take 300plus shots. Gotta love a digital camera!

So my question is......If you were to purchase another laptop or notebook, do you feel good enough about the brand you own now to purchase the same again? If so what brand is it? And if you wish to elaborate on your reason that would be Ok too::yes::

Thanks in advance for any replies

I have a Dell 5100 and love it. I think they discontinued this model, but they still carry the 5150. I did upgrade on the screen, DDR Ram, video card, Windows XP Pro. I think mine was close to $2000. For all the use I get out of it, it is well worth the money. It has gone on trips with us for the sole purpose of letting the kids watch DVDs. I haven't had any problems. I definately keep current with the Norton updates and Microsoft updates. Got too many viruses on my desktop downstairs without the proper protection!! I am pleased with my Dell.
OH...I use mine for digital pics, too! I use the Microsoft Picture It! program that came with my system. Very simple to use. Very simple to connect the camera with the USB cord and upload them.

I have an HP and absolutely love it. It's my second HP, the first one lasted 3 years and is still in use as a piece of network monitoring equipment. What amazes me about my new one is the battery life. I can get over 6 hours without plugging in, very handy on those long flights!

I have a Dell, Tammy, about one year old. Works great. About 4 months ago, I called tech regarding what I felt was an overly noisy DVD drive. I had a replacement at my home about 18 hours later, with a prepaid return package for the old one, great service. I had an IBM prior to this one, and it also was fine. I would think any of the top five would do you well, much is personal preference of keyboard layout, etc.
