Considering DDP but have ?'s

This is the story.
I'm planning a trip to Pop from feb 14-21, the ddp sounds like a great ideato add to our package. The problem is my DH is leaving the 18th while me and my twin girls are staying till the 21. I was wondering if one of my sisters, who'll also be there at that time can take advantage of the extra dining points? or do they fingerprint these as well?

just curious if anyone had an idea for me.

You should be fine. You can't use any child points for the adults. But if there are leftover adult TS or CS from your husband, they can be used for any other adult.

You'll have the DDP on your Key to the Kingdom card (not your sister's - unless they are also part of your package), so just make sure you're present and put the meals on your card.

The Dining Plan is non-transferable, so by all rights you cannot do as you suggest, using credits for someone not part of your reservation, though there is no enforcement to ensure that you comply.

The moderators have prohibited discussions of Dining Plan rules in the forums. If you have further questions about the transferability of Dining Plan credits, they ask that you address those questions to Disney Dining directly.

how do they know you are using your kids credits or your own, last year, kids were not seperate from adults, do they monitor that now somehow? I believe we had a few kids TS credits leftover and the adults used them.....is it different now?

This is one of those things that the moderators have stated that only Disney can answer.

Any questions regarding the use of the plan that are not answered specifically in the WDW Dining Brochure cannot be accurately answered on these boards and should be addressed to WDW Dining. Interpretation of the rules has led to a tremendous amount of debate on these boards. To avoid further conflict, we will close any threads that ask for interpretation of the rules and encourage the poster to contact WDW Dining.
