Considering a disney cruise for our honeymoon

I am a huge disney fan and my partner and I are considering a disney cruise for our honeymoon next year. It would be our first cruise. We are obviously planning to stick to the adults only areas but I just found out that in the rotational dining you are sitting with another family normally. I'm just a bit worried that we get paired up with someone who is unaccepting or someone with kids which would create awkward or uncomfortable situations if the kids dont understand. If this situation happens, how would disney handle it, would they be able to move us ? We are both friendly and my g/f espacially loves to talk to people so we don't really wanna request to sit alone.

My wife and I took a Disney cruise for our honeymoon (seven days on the Disney Magic, 10/2006) and had a WONDERFUL time! I tend to talk to other folks a lot, not unlike your g/f.

We were seated with two other couples, and both were fine. I was told that Disney tends to seat families with other families and adults with other adults, so shouldn't be an issue. And if there had been issues, we would have requested another table and I am confident that the CMs would have taken care of it as efficiently as they did everything else!

The first (or second?) night we participated in a game in one of the bars -- they chose us (as the couple most newly married), another for longest married (over 20 years) and another mid-range (around 10 years, I believe) to answer questions to see how well we knew our spouse. It was a lot of fun and the CMs seemed to enjoy it as much as we did. Most fun, though, was how many people came up to us over the course of the cruise to congratulate us on being newlyweds!

If anyone is going to have an issue, it will be THEIR issue and Disney will take care of you.

the Disney cruise is great, been three times. I love how they're kids free zones and I still can meet my Princesses and do other great Disney stuff. as for dining if you don't get along with your table mates the first night asked to be switched. we knew people a straight couple who couldn't stand their table mates and were easily switched.
