Conservative & Liberal Meet at Rose & Crown

OK folks. The time is nearly here. From October 20-30th conservatives and liberals will be meeting at the Rose and Crown, where Darian can make good on all his promises to buy folks of opposing views their beers. YES, you read that right. C's and L's sitting down in peace to toast the joys of WDW and the wonder of a cold ale.

Darian and his DW will be staying at the BC for the duration. Remember to keep all discussions clean... no profanity and no throwing of drinks or food. This is a civilized nation after all. But we do like fireworks, especially the nuclear kind. But thats a virtue after all.

Hi maxiesmom, you guys are gonna have so much fun at the BCV!!! AND its within crawling distance from Epcot. Very important after a long day of wine tasting and beer lifting in Epcot.

To address LoraJ's question of what time, we are thinking 5m on the 23rd, 25th and the 28th. I hope the lime green doesn't offend any Brits in the bar, as we are DIS'ers not members of the IRA.

However, if someone has a better idea for a meet time or date, we are certainly open to suggestions.

You know Mr. Mayor, I believe they have a plaque dedicated to you over the bar at the R & C as an honorary Brit. Quite an honor really.

Hopefully yes it will be an annual event. I'm gonna have open heart surgery again next year so I may have to pass on 2007. But look for me in 2008! Oh and of course, this year.
