Okay--should I or shouldn't I? I can't make up my mind about whether or not to order the Connections vouchers. I will be traveling with my husband and my three daughters--13, 6, and 3. We will do several character breakfasts, some quick lunches, and some nice lunches. We much prefer to eat a nice, late lunch than a nice dinner. We definitely want to try San Angel Inn, Rainforest Cafe, and possibly L'Originale Alfredo di Roma. Are the Quick and Casual vouchers a good deal at other places besides just Beaches and Cream? Are the vouchers a really good deal? Thanks for any help on this.

Well, it depends on what you call a really good deal. If you want $80.00 worth of food for $22 with the Q and C that is not going to happen at most places. If you want $15 for $11 then you'll be alright. What I do to decide if it is a good deal is check the menus and decide what I'd order. If it comes to at least $11 before tax, than I have saved a little with each voucher. If you will be dining at character breakfasts order the vouchers for the adults and skip the kids (pay for them) you'll save more money. For late lunches at the full service places you mention you will save money by using the feature lunch vouchers. I use the vouchers as a way to pre-pay for meals and keep my budget in line. It is nice to carry the little cardboard tickets along, sign them and go. No worries about extra money for a tip ( unless the service is exceptional) and then I can carry just $20 or so into the parks for little extras each day.

I think they are a good deal if you want to eat a dessert with your meals, we used them at Tusker House and they were a real good deal there and also at Beaches and Cream, only a good deal anyplace if you want a pretty big meal. I came home with 3 we didnt use because my younger son wasnt eating too much this trip and I usually dont eat desserts.

I agree with the above poster, if you like dessert, they are almost always a good deal. Even if you save just a few dollars you're ahead. Remember drink, tax and tip are also included.
