All of Frontier's flights are in the A Concourse at DIA. They have all of the gates on the West end of the concourse except for 2, so you're looking at about a 5 minute walk (max) from one end to the other of the west side of A. They also have 3 gates at the far end of the East Side of A Concourse. It would take you maybe 10 minutes to walk from the far end of the west side to the far end of the east side.
One in four airplane flights arrives more than 15 minutes late. Add to that the time it takes to get out of the plane and past others standing still ont he movign sidewalks, you stand a good chance of losing your seat assignments let along missing the connection.
30 minutes is just plain too short for a connection.
If your first flight arrives in Denver on time, you should be able to make it to your second flight.
The problem is that only around 76% of all flights arrive on time. That means you have a 1-in-4 chance that your arrival will be late. The good news is that if your arrival is late because of weather delays in Denver, your departure is likely to be delayed too, and you would still make your connection.
Frontier in Denver was on time 74.22% in March 2006.
