Question about the doors separating the connecting staterooms:

I assume that there are two doors, like a hotel would have.

Do the doors stay open by themselves? Or do they need to be propped open?

I ask because we combined a Cat 3 and Cat 4 to make a nice-sized suite and we'll have 6 kids with us.

My family and I have had connecting rooms on deck 2. Once the room steward saw that we were together and wanted the doors open he used a wedge and fixed the doors in the open position. I would think that the same idea would apply on those category rooms as well. Just ask your steward when you arrive in your rooms.

I remember that the doors were quite heavy, and we just turned the lock to keep the doors from closing all the way. I will ask about using a wedge or something next summer! Thanks for that tip!:D

We just used a pencil. Just place the pencil in the door spring thingy on the top of the door.
