I havent seen it mentioned here, but does anyone know the total number of rooms that can be connected at any of the values? Is there a way to have a 'block' or row of rooms where they all connect and maybe 3-4 rooms could all be connected? I'm in the process of trying to get a group of 10-12 ppl all together for a huge trip in October of 2013. I want us all to be together and connecting rooms would be so great. When I book, can I book for all the rooms together or does each 'room' need to book and we request rooms together? Is there a specific way of reserving rooms for big groups? any info would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

I have never seen any more than two rooms connected at any hotel ever. I am an architect, so I notice these things.

You could link your reservations and make connecting rooms your only request. Depending on how busy the resort is that week, you may be possible to get two sets of connecting rooms, but they might not be located near each other, since not all rooms are connecting. They are scattered throughout the resort.

If several people do want to stay together, you may look at renting points in one of the villas. I believe with the exception of the grand villa, the maximum capacity is 9. There is an entire board about it.

No, you won't get more than 2 rooms with a connecting door. That's the way most hotels are.

When you book your rooms be sure to have them link all the reservations together and tell them that you would like all your rooms to be adjoining.

In Disney speak adjoining is side by side. Connecting is with the interior door that opens.

I think you would have a better chance of being all together if you just ask to be in the same building rather than adjoining or connecting. Also know that these are only requests nothing is guaranteed.

Only 2 rooms will connect. We went with some friends and got 4 rooms total. We had 2 sets of connecting rooms, right next to each other. So, we had 4 rooms all in a row, making it easy for being near each other. that's probably the best you could do. So, 2 sets of 2 connecting rooms, adjoining each other. hope that made sense, lol.

1) Only two rooms connect.
2) However, they are a REQUEST, only.
3) They are NEVER guaranteed.
4) So, you may have rooms close to each other, not connecting or adjoining.
5) Hope for the best, be prepared for not.

Do a Grand Gathering. Nothing is ever guaranteed but your requests will be handled a bit differently. When I did mine, the second I went to eight people, I was handed over to the Grand Gathering people who were wonderful. They will work with you extremely well.
