So I am hoping to get married at WP Dec 2010..I have spoke with a disney wedding consultant...and she gave me some info...and she said she will get in touch with me again in march...so is the consultant the same as a wedding planner? is she the one I will be working with??

I am still in the consultant phase so I am not 100% positive. I assume that once you sign a contract and put your deposit down with the consultant you get moved to a wedding planner who is a different person.

Are you doing a wishes or escape wedding? If you are doing a wishes wedding I would make sure that you at least put your date and time on hold for now so it isn't taken. If you are doing an escape I know there are restrictions about how far in advance you can book... maybe thats why she said she would be back in touch in March - did she contact you in March?

No your consultant is who you start out with. They will help you with info and prices. They will also give you a site tour. The planner will be assigned to you after you sign the contract.
