We are wanting to do the Dolphin Swim, on our own, at Chankannab (sp?). I spoke with Chris there who said that I had to make my reservations through Disney. I explained to him that the Disney excursion is different than the one they offer on their site. I was told that Disney has all the spots booked for October 2. He said they sell 50% of the spots 60 days out and hold the remainder for onboard booking.
I am confused, I thought we could book this on our own. Any help would be appreciated.

After checking with the higher ups, Chris called me to let me know that the only time available on that day for a "swim" is 10:00 a.m. There's no way we could make it. He said that Disney has had these spots booked since May. I asked him what would have happened if I had booked prior to Disney, would I have been cancelled? He didn't know. He did say that you spend 30 minutes with the Dolphins.
